Believing firmly in quality veterinary care, Dr. Mark Crootof produces state of the art facilities; almost all of his veterinary practices have digital radiography and ultrasounds. You will also notice the designs and layouts of each project are customized to fit the client's personal needs and to utilize the building space in the most efficient way possible.

Milton Veterinary Hospital Gallery »
After graduating from veterinary school and spending several years practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Mark Crootof was prepared to start his own Veterinary Hospital. In 1984 Dr. Mark Crootof purchased an old horse farm in Upstate New York; he renovated one of the barns to create Milton Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Mark Crootof practiced here for over twenty years and still owns the 3,000 square foot practice today.
Milton Manor Pet Spa & Resort Gallery »
Just one year after Milton Veterinary Hospital was established, Dr. Mark Crootof opened the Milton Manor Boarding Facility. This 12,000 square foot facility is also in a renovated horse barn. To meet clients’ demands the boarding facility was later changed to Milton Manor Pet Spa and Resort, which features luxury dog and cat boarding as well as playtime, hiking, and a swimming pool.

Wanting to expand into the nearby town of Saratoga Springs, NY, Dr. Mark Crootof started Upstate Animal Medical Center as a leasehold in 1991. This practice quickly outgrew the space, so he designed and built a new hospital in 1997. This 5,000 square foot practice was sold in 2001.
Northway Animal Emergency Clinic Gallery »
In 2000 a group of veterinarians, including Dr. Mark Crootof, collaborated to start an emergency clinic. Dr. Mark Crootof took a lead role finding the property, negotiating the purchase, buying the equipment, and helping with its design. The clinic turned out to be a success and paid off its loan in less than 6 years. Dr. Mark Crootof still sits on the board of the Northway Animal Emergency Clinic today.

Located in NYC Uptown Veterinary Associates shows how careful planning and intelligent design can create a comfortable environment in a relatively small space. This two-doctor practice has a waiting area, receptionist desk, bathroom, doctor’s nook, pharmacy, and four exam rooms on the first floor, which is only 1,500 square feet.

After researching multiple sites for a startup with Dr. Mark Crootof, Drs. Sarah Silver and Sean Eastman realized that their best choice was to purchase an existing hospital. With CVC’s help they made the purchase, renovated the building, bought new equipment and advertised. With the new practice bustling, they now have little time for anything else.
